Hi everybody

Here are the brief results from the June Shootout at Shakey last weekend, 10th & 11th June.

The Wild Bunch had a total of 13 teams participating in the event. The weather was pretty good throughout with many teams getting 3 runs on Saturday, and all 4 rounds of competition being completed on Sunday. Huge thanks to all the marshals and officials and everyone at Shakey for all their hard work again this weekend!

The winners were:

1st Place: ‘Sag’ Southworth in ‘Daddy Cool’ .053 average (1st ever Wild Bunch win!!!)
2nd Place: Jim Tanner in ‘Shindigger’ .080 average
3rd Place: Keith Crampton in ‘Soul Town Shaker’ .094 average
4th Place: Mark Coulsell in ‘Ballbreaker’ .112 average

Big thanks to Elaine Southworth of Cool Engineered Art for making the fantastic trophies for the Top 4, and for sponsoring the prize fund for the event. Well chuffed Mr Daddy Cool himself took top honours!

Thanks again to everyone at Shakey for all their hard work as always! Well done to all the Wild Bunch teams who also did their best to put on another good show!

Massive thanks to Lynne Coulsell and team (including Hayley, Mark, Anna, Harley, Ford & Thomas) for all their running around and organising the event!! A fantastic job by all! Thanks so much for stepping in at the deep end and all your hard work!! (I was gutted I could not be there with everyone, due to family illness – Claire).

I am sending my Congratulations to everyone for another brilliant event and great performances, and Super Special Congratulations to Sag on his first ever 150mph run!! And to Sag and the whole team on the excellent event win, their first ever Wild Bunch win, so well deserved!! Happy Birthday Daddy Cool!! Fantastic achievements! Well chuffed for you all!!
