Hi everybody!

Here are the brief results from the Nostalgia Nationals at Shakey last weekend, 23rd & 24th June, with a full writeup and results to follow as soon as we can!

The Wild Bunch had a total of 16 teams participating in the event and it was another great weekend, with the weather being better than expected Saturday so many drivers got 4 runs in. Sunday was very mixed, with a huge shower just before the scheduled start time, and then another huge downpour when the track was nearly dry around 12:45pm. The track crew again worked their socks off and the track amazingly opened at 3pm, and we completed 2 rounds of Wild Bunch competition! All the teams thoroughly enjoyed the event and would like to thank the marshals, officials and track crew for their stirling efforts this weekend to enable racing to take place!

Here are the results:

1st Place: Adam Price in “Go Hard or Go Home!!!” .0215 average
2nd Place: Tom Larman in “The Ferret” .0520 average
3rd Place: Bob Morgan in “B-Sting” .0595 average
4th Place: Dave Ward in “Rampage” .0630 average

Here are the Spot Prizes that were awarded:-

Best Reaction (Sunday): Tom Larman in "The Ferret" .073
Closest to Dial-in: (joint) Adam Price in “Go Hard or Go Home!!!” & Bob Morgan in “B-Sting” .018 off

And the PB’s were:

Adam Price in “Go Hard or Go Home!!!” 144.99mph

Steve Field in "Black Pig Too" 9.459/148.81mph
Keith Crampton in “Soultown Shaker” 10.923
Bob Hawkins in “Time Traveller” 8.182/167.92mph
