Hi folks

I have been contacted by Pete Wiseman, from the Nostalgia Super Stock Association.  He has now decided to sell his altered due to not being able to run both cars, so has asked if I could advertise it privately amongst the Wild Bunch. He has not put it up for general sale yet, as he hopes it will go to a likeminded person, someone passionate about the sport and type of vehicle,  who would really value it! J

Here is his advert, so if you are interested, or know someone who may be, please contact Pete directly. All the best, Claire: ……..

23 “T” Altered For Sale - UPDATE - ROLLING CHASSIS NOW SOLD!!!

Sadly, I have to sell my Altered. It is a 125" CDS Altered built by Roy Wilding, originally for a BBC. I believe I am the second owner. It has a '23 T bucket body with Ducktail. Will sell as a Rolling Chassis, or with choice of engines. I have had the car inspected and it will tag to 7.50, subject to minor changes such as larger Catch can, etc. Not tagged at the moment. It runs a solid mounted “Hauser Racing” 9" Rear end with Spool and 3.91:1 Gears, Discs and Wilwood calipers, and foot operated Brake. New Rear wheels and Slicks with Zero runs. Chrome plated front control arms, no suspension, no provision for brakes, and Spindles and appropriate wheels and tyres. Steering box and linkages installed, and removable butterfly Wheel. Includes single Parachute and Chrome Plated Wheelie Bar. “Hauser Racing” converted the Chassis to accept a Gen II 508ci KB Hemi, Ultra Bell, and a TH400 with Trans brake and driveshaft. The pinion angle was re-worked and is correct. However, with a different Motor plate and possibly Mid plate it will accept a BBC. Most of the tin work is present, some will need adapting depending on the Engine and Transmission combination that will be used in the future. The car will need to be re-wired, but once again, that depends on the intended configuration. Asking £4750 for the Rolling Chassis. The Engines and Transmission are NOT available separately until the Rolling Chassis is sold. No exceptions. Car is based near Royson on the Herts / Cambs Border.

Information on the Engines and Transmission

“Hauser Racing” refreshed the Hemi which has Zero runs on BME Alloy Rods. The Hemi is a water Block and the jackets have been pressure tested Ok in the past prior to rebuild. “Hauser Racing” also fabricated some one-off Hemi Headers which I have has ceramic coated. Zero Runs. The KB Hemi is set up for an 8-71 Supercharger built by Nigel at “UK Blowers” (Zero runs) and Methanol via top hat and mechanical injector. A Blower Inlet is included but may require an intermediate plate to match to the Blower. However, the KB is a water block so could run NA on carbs, and I have a Tunnel Ram and Twin Dominator set up for this and Radiator and water pump (new and un-used Maziere electric pump at extra cost). The TH400 Transmission was refreshed by Roger Luty and has Zero runs on it. It has a PPP shifter with Air Shift, which will remain with the transmission, not the rolling chassis. I also have a 454 BBC on STD bore with Edelbrock Performer RPMs heads, Roller Lifters and Roller Rockers and a Blower inlet manifold. Therefore, the car could be converted back with the correct motor plates and maybe an Ultra Bell or a new TH400 case.
