Wild Bunch Race Dates for 2026!! …. All current Wild Bunch members will have had an e-mail with further details, but just wanted to share to all on here. The great news is that we have 7 dates for next season: confirmed by Santa Pod Raceway. They are 6 dates where we are a ‘Race Class’ (in keeping with the amount of events offered to all classes) plus one extra event that we run at as RWYB (the Mopar EuroNationals).  The brilliant news for our club is that Santa Pod Racers Club committee decided to extend our club’s participation in the MSUK SPRC Championships next year!!  There is a proviso in that we need to have a minimum of 6 participants at each of the 3 MSUK events next year in order to continue our participation as a class the following year.  Many thanks to the SPRC Committee for including us!! 

Our 7 event dates for the amazing 60^th Anniversary year at Santa Pod are as follow:

Event entry criteria and procedure will be the same as this year:

For the 3 Nostalgia events:- Nostalgia Nationals, Dragstalgia and the Hot Rod Drags, you will need to enter through the ‘RACE CLASSES’ link on the Santa Pod Raceway website (the deadline is normally 2 weeks before the event). For these events, you buy your Racer ticket and however many Crew tickets you need for the event (at the same time). This will include your signing on for the event. 

For the 3 Motorsport UK permitted events, you need to enter through the webpage on the Santa Pod Racers Club website (the deadline is normally 3 weeks before the event).  Entry will be live next year.

Note: the only event that will be different is our ‘Summer Showdown’ at the Mopar EuroNationals, where you need to enter through the RWYB section – you buy as many General Admission tickets as you need and then you need to buy a ‘Race Voucher’ for each of the days you wish to race on.  This is the only event where we can take advantage of the ‘Winter Saver’ deal which runs up until 31^st January.  Here is the link for this event only: https://santapodtickets.com/p/mopareuronats

PLEASE NOTE: the Race Entry sections for the 3 Nostalgia events are not yet live on the fab new updated Santa Pod Raceway website! I have been informed that they will most likely be available in January.

Our various Series dates will be allocated to events and will be ratified at the Wild Bunch AGM in January/February, date to be confirmed. We will likely run the same event date format for each Series as we have done this year. The exciting highlight is that it will be our 30^th Annual Wild Bunch Series!  What an achievement!! We will be thinking of ways to celebrate this momentous occasion! The other exciting news is that our very own Roy Wilding has kindly said that he will put up a massive £500 prize fund split between the Top 3 at his Roy Wilding Nostalgia Race Cars Series next year! Many thanks to Roy for this fantastic gesture!

We will also be keeping a look out for news of dates at Melbourne Raceway that will be of interest to those who attended this year and those hoping to attend next year. We were in discussion with some of the organisers from the track, regarding Wild Bunch participation at an event in 2026. This will not be held as one of our official Series rounds, but will be a stand alone event in a format that will be confirmed. More details will be announced when they are known.
