24th Annual Wild Bunch Prize Presentation on Saturday 30th November

 

Hi folks!

What a fabulous evening we all had at our Annual Prize Presentation Dinner Dance at the SnowDome in Tamworth!!  Another brilliant event, celebrating our 24th season!!

 

Barry Bohannon & Paul Wright were our fantastic MCs for the evening, and we had some special presentations to add to the trophies given to our Series and Merit award winners.

 

Flowers were presented thanks to Mark Coulsell, and on behalf of the Wild Bunch, to Claire Meaddows. Gifts were given to all the lovely ladies attending. A special photo of our smiliest team with their happy face t-shirts was presented to the “Happy Daze” team smile 

 

Various messages were read noting some highlights of the season including the PB’s of those attending. smile Our sponsors for the season were thanked for their great support! smile

 

The Series winners of the Roy Wilding Nostalgia Race Cars Series, the Springbridge MSUK Challenge, Spirit of Nostalgia Challenge Series and the Wild Bunch Series were presented with their well-earned trophies. smilesmile

 

Commemorative presentations were given to:

 

Ed Yates – for the fab new Wild Bunch website

Lynne Coulsell -   for Wild Bunch Secretary and more

Claire Meaddows  -  for Wild Bunch Race Co-ordinator & Treasurer & GM

 

We made several special presentations, including a glass crystal star to Keith Crampton to celebrate his achievement of finishing in the Top 10 of the Wild Bunch for 10 years in a row!! Well done Keith!! smile

 

smile British Drag Racing Hall of Fame Induction celebration smile      

Then we celebrated the recent presentation of the Bootsie for The Wild Bunch’s Induction in to the ‘British Drag Racing Hall of Fame’. This was announced by Paul Wright and our two longest standing Wild Bunch members attending, committee members Mark Coulsell and Dave Williams, were asked to receive the Bootsie again on behalf of the whole Wild Bunch.  Such a huge honour for our club!  smilesmile
